Cdr. Mike’s Memo to all Members and Friends

The monsoon rains are here to dull our senses but we have a number of events to brighten up the days ahead.

We have had a number of events with Royal City and Coquitlam Squadrons and all have been very enjoyable and well attended. Our jointly run education courses are going well and plans are in the works for spring classes which will include some advanced classes. Our Sub-committee with Royal City and Coquitlam will be meeting this week to assess how the fall joint programs have progressed and to iron out some of the kinks we encountered so as to make the spring activities a smoother sail.

November 2 – Dinner at Willy’s Galley followed by guest speaker Les Bullis

Willy’s Galley at Reed Point Marina – 850 Barnett Hwy. Port Moody 778-871-1177

Dinner from approximately 5:30pm to 6:45pm. Please note to call Tammy for reservations as this may already be a sold out event.

The room will then be reconfigured for additional guests to hear Les Bullis talking from 7pm to 9pm about experiences noted in his book “Little Black Cloud Called Harold.” It is a humorous look at some of his ill-fated boating experiences that will make you laugh and probably make you reflect on your own stories. A Bent Prop’rs dream night.

If you have any questions, please call our host, Jule at 778-837-0004
